We invite you to join an Advent Bible Reading Texting Group as we read passages connected to our sermon series, Why Does Advent Matter? Because Jesus changes everything! Advent is a season of waiting and preparing, and these groups offer a simple way to reflect on what Jesus' birth makes possible while staying connected with others.
Each Monday through Friday, you will read a short Bible passage from the Advent plan and share a brief check-in with your group. These small groups of about five people encourage one another with quick texts, thoughts, or reflections from the daily reading. It is an easy and meaningful way to stay rooted in God’s Word during the Advent season.
How it works
- Sign up to be placed in a texting group.
- You will be randomly placed in a group of about five people.
- Each weekday, read the assigned passage from the reading plan.
- After reading, send a short message to your group. It can be something simple like “Read” or a brief reflection or encouragement.
It is a low-pressure but meaningful way to grow in faith and stay connected to others this December.
